Akshay Kumar ‘s Laxmmi Bomb will release on Disney Plus Hotstar, Bhuj: The Pride of India starring Ajay Devgan, Sushant Sing’s Dil Bechara,Sadak starring Aliya Bhat and Aditya Roy Kapur, Abhishek Bachchan’s The Big Bull, Vidyut’s Khuda Haafiz and Kunal Khemmu’s Lootcase are in the pipeline to release on OTT.
Owners of the Big screen are disappointed as they are taking precautionary steps to avoid virus spread in theatres. They are worried that if this habit continues it will destroy the growth of the entertainment business. Here producers and exhibitors get the shares of box office collection according to their agreement. Now with the entry of OTT theatre and distribution businesses are losing their economy.
Other side effects
When people watch movies outside their homes they may depend on the public transport system to reach the theatres. Auto drivers, cab drivers are at loss. Small and big Hotels will lose their customers. Roadside business like food and cloth business will also lose its customers. The whole link will collapse.
