India reached total tally of 6 lakh on Wednesday confirmed Ministry of health and Family Welfare on July 1. Maharashtra reported 5537 new cases. 93,154 patients recovered and 8053 have died due to Covid-19 infection. Mumbai alone crossed 29,715 active cases.
On Wednesday India reported highest single day rise in Covid-19 with 507 deaths. Data confirms that in June India reported 4 lakh corona cases. Now India stands fourth virus affected country in the world after US, Brazil and Russia.
MoHFW in a statement said “pointing out that in some Stated/UTs the capacity utilization of the testing labs, particularly one in private sector is grossly sub-optimal, states/UTs have strongly advised to take all possible steps to ensure full capacity utilization of all covid testing labs in the state/UTs.”
Karnataka on Wednesday reported 1272 more positive cases with highest single day rise. Bengaluru recorded 735 new cases on Wednesday.The Government of Karnataka is thinking to seal down more areas in Bengaluru after July 7.
