Varanasi: A weaver from Uttar Pradesh designed a beautiful cloth using cotton and red threads. The cloth measures 72 inches length, 22 inches wide. He embroidered the words “ Jai Shri Ram, Ayodhya Pavitra Dham” and the picture of “Lord Shri Ram’s bow” on using red colour thread. He used golden colour threads to weave the cloth. His hand made cloth is so beautiful that, his divine for Lord Rama reflects on it.
His name is Bachche Lal, a handloom weaver from Varanasi wants to send this beautiful cloth to Ayodhya, through the Commissioner of Police. He made this cloth for Prime Minister Modi, ahead of his visit to Ayodhya on August 5. In 2019 Nov 9 Supreme Court had directed the central government to hand over the site at Ayodhya for the construction of the Ram Temple.
He is happy that the temple is being constructed and it attracts tourism and it boosts the weavers business. The foundation of the temple is being laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5 in Ayodhya. Several dignitaries are expected to participate in the ceremony.
