For the past 7 months, a family in Ghataraddihal village in Koppal district has been isolated from the village to avoid coronavirus infection. After the first phase of lockdown announced in the month of March, Anandappa Dambal decided to isolate his family from his village. He lives with his aged parents, his wife, and 3 daughters. He is a farmer and Congress party worker has not attended any social gathers since then. Anandappa’s father who is 72 years old goes for a morning walk on an isolated road. Anandappa goes shopping only to buy essential things like groceries, vegetables thrice a month. They have stopped calling labourers to work in their fields. Now all the members of the family are working in the field. They have also developed a garden outside their home. His kids and wife are happy about the decision taken by him. His 3 daughters attend online classes. They help their parents in the field.
