Private school association favours up to 25% cut in fees in Karnataka
School fees which is more than Rs 25,000 a year can reduce between 20% to 25% in the best interest of parents. The decision is taken by KAMS(The associated Managements of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka). But parents are unhappy about this decision. They are asking 50% reduction in fees. Parents say that, the staff is reduced, classes reduced. So that there expenditure reduced to more than 50%. But are asking to pay 25% less fees. It is like looting the parents in the name of education. More than 70% of people either have lost their jobs or pay cut in their salary due to covid pandemic. Still the government and private schools are merciless.
