BJP believes in crushing and conquering, former BJP leader and union minister Yashwant Sinha
After criticising BJP over alleged attack on Mamta Banergee, former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha joined Trinamool Congress on Saturday.
He said, the BJP under the leadership of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee believed in consensus but today’s govt believes in crushing and conquering. Akalis and the BJD have left BJP. Who is standing with the BJP?
He tweeted on Wednesday, “Shame on BJP. Instead of sympathizing with Mamta injured in an attack they are making fun of it. The battle for Bengal is the battle for India. The voters in Bengal will vote for the future of India in this election.”
Yashwant Sinha was a foreign minister in the Vajpayee cabinet. He quit BJP in 2018. His son Jayant Sinha is a BJP lawmaker and MP of Hazaribagh in Jharkand.
