*Bengaluru – February 24, 2021*: Yoga, spirituality of East and Modern Science from West should be used to provide quality health care system in the state, says Health & Medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar. He was speaking in the Yoga Dakshinamurthy temple consecration program in S-Vyasa University here on Wednesday. 

Yoga and Spiritual cultures are being followed in the East, where as modern Science is being practiced in the West. We need to adopt best practices from both the cultures to establish a quality Health care system, he said. Speaking about the contributions made by the college, Dr Sudhakar said that the college is fulfilling the ideals of Swami Vivekananda in utilizing the ancient wisdom of Charaka, Sushruta, Kanada etc. There is a need in the society to take up more research experiments based on this ancient wisdom he added. 

In an experiment conducted in Harvard university, 80% people opined that they will be happy if they get more money. Some said popularity brings happiness. Later they came to know rich people are suffering from lack of sleep, restlessness. We shall not let fortune to rule our life. Yoga teaches us about this wisdom. S-Vyasa University teaches us about this said the Minister.

Encouraging the students on the occasion Dr.Sudhakar said that, Students should have patience and perseverance to achieve goals. There will be hurdles on your way but one should not get deviate from the target no matter whatever comes their way.

RTPCR test negative report is compulsory for those coming from Kerala and Maharashtra. But, there is no restriction for anyone to enter the state. There is no confusion in this, restrictions imposed only for those two states since there are more number of cases.
