City civil Court rejected Amulya Leona bail application.
Bangalore: The city civil court has dismissed a bail application filed by Amulya Leona on the allegations of Pakistani shouting at Freedom Park. Ordered by Vidyadhar Shirahatti. If the accused is granted bail, she may abscond, involve in similar offence which affects peace at large.
The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was raising slogans like ‘ Pakistani Zindabad ‘ in a couple of times which were leading as protest organized by Imran Pasha, Imran Khan and Mohammed Ibrahim to protest the CAA, NRC and NPR laws on February. The petitioner with an intention to insult the people, to create disorder has stated the slogans. On the basis of the said facts, the respondent Police have registered the case against the petitioner Amulya.
Amulya was not in the list of speakers but was invited to attend the gathering. She comes on the stage shouts “Pakistan Zindabad” thrice, following which she yells,”Hindustan Zindabad”.
Amulya is an alumni of NMKRV College for women and is a former translator at Bangalore Recording Company. Amulya ‘s father condemned her act as she was joined by some muslim groups and not listens to him.
